confusticating distress.She really didn't know just what had hit her. But she knew this, her eyes were full of tears and everyone there was like a stranger. Like a stranger. Like a stranger. Their lips moved but their voices were not familiar. As if some man had come and snatched their tongues and put new, different ones in during the night. The light above flickered, and she panicked. Her car was not there, her voice was not heard. No matter how loud she screamed, a noise never escaped her lips. The absence of her voice bounced around in her head, resonating within her earconfusticating distress.
